#112 After embedding ISRC, trying to use ISRVview to double check number input - won't work

Using KID3 to generate ISRC codes (as per my license with RIAA).

Need to check to be sure the ISRC was embedded effectively, and double check the number to our list of assigned numbers we are allowed to issue.

Bought ISRCview (Clover systems software) to be able to VIEW the embedded ISRC number to double check it. It will not read the number or metadata we embedded with Kid 3.

What is the best viewer to be able to see the ISRC (and metadata) embedded via Kid 3?

I suppose that you are using Windows as an operating system as ISRCView seems to be a Windows application. I have tested a file with ISRC embedded by Kid3 in various applications (Mp3Tag, TagScanner, foobar2000, qoobar, ExFalso) and they all display the ISRC written by Kid3.

So I think this is probably a problem with ISRCView. Maybe you have written an ID3v2.4.0 tag and ISRCView only supports ID3v2.3.0? In this case you could try to convert the tag to ID3v2.3.0 using Kid3. Or you could try the conversion in the other direction.

ISRC View - yes, found out it only reads embedded ISRC numbers in CDDA audio tracks, which are not files.
Thanks for your response as well - I'll check out the others you tested and named.
