Hi all; I'm try to install kablink on OpenSUSE 11.3 and already download the source from the official website ===== Download the following: * kablink-server-#.#.#.tar.gz * notlame-3.96.1-1.i686.rpm * libical-0.24.RC4.tar.gz ===== I manage to get most of the package installed via repos, but failed to find/download notlame-3.96.1-1.i686.rpm and libical-0.24.RC4.tar.gz, seems like not available anymore, libical i just can get version 0.27 ( oldest on sourceforge ).. any idea where i can get those? need to complete this setup ASAP One more is it not recommended to install it on OpenSUSE 11.3 or i need to revert the version to SLES10/11? Hi! First post to this list. Have a few queries: 1. Why isn't there an active community around kablink conferencing? Even the teaming site just has this - http://tinyurl.com/2vyko33 2. What are the release cycles planned for conferencing? 3. How can anyone contribute to the same by means of testing and or development? Would be grateful if anyone active may respond to this soon. Cheers, SB |

Hi Everyone I have a very basic definition I'd like to try to establish. What is the core mission of Kablink and what core functions should we support in order to accomplish the mission? I have some thoughts I'm throwing out and would love to get some feedback on this. Mission: Group Coordination and Productivity Major actions and desired social interactions that Kablink should support or enable? ∘ Allow users to form into groups based around a common goal ∘ Provide tools that allow relationships between users and groups having a common set of goals to be created and maintained ∘ Enable information relevant to a user or group's goal to be documented and discovered What else am I missing? Notice I didn't talk about blogs, wikis, or anything like that. I'd like to just get to the essence of what it is we hope to accomplish. Brent |
