Hello All this is done on debian unstable, gcc 3.2.3 20030316 (Debian prerelease). When trying to compile the current CVS code, I get: Making all in javascript make[2]: Entering directory `/home/bartj/d/cpp/k3d-build/modules/javascript' Making all in js make[3]: Entering directory `/home/bartj/d/cpp/k3d-build/modules/javascript/js' Making all in src make[4]: Entering directory `/home/bartj/d/cpp/k3d-build/modules/javascript/js/src' gcc -o jscpucfg jscpucfg.c gcc: jscpucfg.c: No such file or directory gcc: no input files This can be solved by copying the source files from the source tree into the build tree, but I don't know the elegant solution. After that, I get this error: In file included from ../../../k3d/modules/javascript/js/src/jspubtd.h:40, from ../../../k3d/modules/javascript/js/src/jsapi.h:42, from ../../../k3d/modules/javascript/javascriptgtkmlcontainer.h:28, from ../../../k3d/modules/javascript/engine.cpp:25: ../../../k3d/modules/javascript/js/src/jstypes.h:235:71: jsautocfg.h: No such file or directory I see that file is in the mozilla-dev package on debian, but I'm not sure that's the one I need, and installing it pulls in a load of other dependencies, so I'll await your advice :) It has been a long time since I built the source tree, so I started with a clean tree by deleting everything but the CVS dir and then running cvs up. Sorry if I missed anything, but I have about 110 unread mails on the mailinglist to catch up with :) regards, -- Bart Janssens |
