Hi all, once again. I can't figure out how to get to the face selection of a mesh from python in a MeshModifierScript. Steps: 0) [Get revision 1836 from subversion and compile] 1) Create a cube 2) Select some faces 3) Add a MeshModifierScript 4) Put a simple: "print repr(Input)" statement as early as possible. The output always looks like this: mesh: polyhedra: <... snip ...> face_selection [k3d::double_t] (6): 0 0 0 0 0 0 <... snip ...> edge_selection [k3d::double_t] (24): 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 <... snip ...> point_selection [k3d::double_t] (8): 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 I realize that the mesh structure is in the process of changing, and that the python interface may not be ready yet. Is that it? Or should I first add some kind of "selection-freesing" modifier? Kind regards, Rene Jensen |
