I'll see if I can find time next week to do an install in a fresh install of Windows XP pro SP2 using a virtual machine. Given how easy it is to make a mess of Windows, or have it become fragile over time, all you can reasonable be expected to promise is that the application will function on a clean copy of Windows. Can gdb attach to a remote process? I'd rather not have cygwin running in the VM, but it is already on the host machine along with VMWare. |
