Sorry for opening a new topic. I just do not know how to reply. I subscribed, 
but that is not enough.
What I wanted to say is that the writer supports burnfree and everytime I burn 
a CD burnfree is checked. Something else is wrong.
Moreover, lets say that I make a data project. I will burn it with no problem 
(besides the buffere underrun). If I want to make a second data project, then 
I will have problems. The writer will stop burning a couple of minutes after 
the process is started. I will get the error that something went wrong, the 
cd tray will open and the Cd is useless. The debug output shows that cdrecord 
does not have permission to set something (sorry, but do not remember what it 
is). Now, the funny part, if I close K3b and open it again, I will be able to 
burn the data project without any problem (besided buffer underrun, of 
course).
In conclusion, if I want to create two or more projects I need to close and 
open the program for each project.
