I always use AC3 Output with transcode.

On most DVDs i use the following parameters:

transcode -i /dev/dvd -x dvd -a 1 -T 1,-1 -V -j 16,0 -B 5,0 -Y 40,8 -y di=
vx4=20
-w 1618 -A -N 0x2000 -U moviename

With parameter -N 0x2000 i switch export audio format to the same like th=
e=20
input audio.

I use it because after the SB live i have a dts hifi-system and i don't w=
ant=20
to lose the great DD5.1 sound!
