the thing is that k3b now reads the ISRC and MCN of the cd which takes some time with some drives. Perhaps that's the reason..... You can check that in the console output. Test if it takes that long between the k3b: (K3bCdDevice::CdDevice) no ISRC found for track 1 lines....
