Obviously I was the one who was confused--like I suspected, it was quite obvious (Doh!). I had to completely redo the way I had everything set up in eclipse to get a functional build--updated doc at:=20 <http://www.jython.org/cgi-bin/wiki/JythonDeveloperGuide/EclipseNotes> Once I got the build working and ran the unit test, 33 tests failed. The one I really care about is test_types. The jython test passes but the python test fails: test test_types failed -- expected type(-2147483649L) to be=20 long, not <type 'long'> Wild guess: possibly it is just an issue with the str=20 method on the new style long type? =20 But as long as the collections are ok, I should be good to get=20 started with the integration effort. =20 Whew--it was more work than I expected to get to this point. =20 But when you're setting up a development environment like=20 jython's for the first time and having to learn how to=20 use cvs and ant, and making your IDE do new tricks,=20 and trying to document it for others as you go, I suppose it's expected. Thanks for everyone's help! -Clark > -----Original Message----- > From: jyt...@li...=20 > [mailto:jyt...@li...] On Behalf Of=20 > Brian Zimmer > Sent: Saturday, February 19, 2005 11:52 AM > To: Johan Hahn > Cc: jyt...@li... > Subject: Re: [Jython-dev] running the regression tests >=20 >=20 > I'm a little confused by the examples you have posted.
