Vijay, This question would probably be more appropriate for the jython-users list rather than the developer's list. I don't have a definite answer, but here are two things to try. 1) Something in your CLASSPATH or PATH may be a problem. I would unset the classpath and specify the full path to java.exe. D:\Downloads\Software\jython-21\ > set CLASSPATH= D:\Downloads\Software\jython-21\ > c:\java\j2sdk1.4.1_01\bin\java jython-21 2) The class file may be corrupt. You could try to download it again. On my Linux machine jython-21.class is 2,780,547 Bytes On Mon, 2003-03-17 at 23:34, Vijay Anand R. wrote: > hai > > i have installed java 2 jdk1.4 and python 2.2. when i tried to install jython-21 i got the following error. can u help me in resolving it. > > > > D:\Downloads\Software\jython-21>java jython-21 > try path D:\Downloads\Software\jython-21\ > java.util.zip.ZipException: error in opening zip file > at java.util.zip.ZipFile.open(Native Method) > at java.util.zip.ZipFile.<init>(ZipFile.java:112) > at java.util.zip.ZipFile.<init>(ZipFile.java:127) > at jython-21.openArchive(Install.java:162) > at jython-21.<init>(Install.java:109) > at jython-21.main(Install.java:345) > can not open archive > can not read from archive > can not load class net.sourceforge.liftoff.installer.source.ResURLFactory : > .lang.ClassNotFoundException: net.sourceforge.liftoff.installer.source.ResUR > tory > > > > thanx and regards > > R Vijay Anand |
