Actually I had test some in Windows and Linux, I wonder if someone has ever thinking about of having one specially designed to work with jython, containing syntax coloring, shell testing, mainly in swing (multiplatform) as IDLE is for CPython. I know JEdit http://jedit.sourceforge.net interacts with a a scripting language http:www.beanshell.org. Maybe working on this GPL project jython could be inserted, JEdit being simplyfied and leave the effort as default jython editor.
