I am sorry that it took me a while to get back to you. You only need to have the Jython executable in your path, and then you can navigate to your project and issue: jython manage.py command... I always issue the Django-admin.py commands via fully qualifying the path to the Django-admin.py module that resides within your Lib\site-packages\<<Django>> Hope this helps. Just FYI, I have Django 1.4 working with Jython 2.7a2 and plan on issuing a patch to DoJ soon... Hope this is useful to you. Let me know if you need anything else. It may actually be a path issue as well (what should I have in my registry file to use Django?). If I recreate the pollsite directly in my jython2.5.2 directory it gets closer to running but returns this error: >> >> File "C:\jython2.5.2\Lib\site-packages\django-1.4-py2.5.egg\django\db\backends >> \dummy\base.py", line 15, in complain >> raise ImproperlyConfigured("settings.DATABASES is improperly configured.
