-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Dear Jython users, Java has many great libraries, but it's not elegant for writing GUI code. I've seen several jython projects using swing, but none using SWT. So I put up a note-taking application at https://github.com/JohannesBuchner/note3 It is basically a Notational-velocity clone -- feel free to fork it, or copy parts for your GUIs. It uses my maven-jython plugins (and is also linked from http://mavenjython.sf.net) to create a deployable, native cross-platform application. I have encountered an annoying bug in Jython that > from org.eclipse.swt.widgets import * doesn't discover any classes. More details are in http://bugs.jython.org/issue1799 Cheers, Johannes -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (GNU/Linux) iEYEARECAAYFAk57RfIACgkQ7X1+MfqVcr3TzACdHzqbMV6ZpOkCoc4dtppho2IY xc4AnjBvmoqG5pd5IKCbwj2rVD0Dgdla =eVR+ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |
