I'm trying to parse some XML but I seem to have a problem when importing xml.dom.minidom. This is a very basic program, just based on the HelloWorld and it runs fine until I add the "import xml.dom.minidom" statement and I get the following error. I have no idea what it means or how I might fix it. Any suggestions are >> appreciated, thanks. > > So, here are a couple of options: > > 1. Stop using jythonc. It is deprecated, after all. Ok, but I don't really understand how to do that. I've visited the page that describes how to do without jythonc but it is very Java intensive. I'm much more familiar with Python, all I really want to do is run Python code as a Java applet and learn as little Java as I have to in order to get by. I just want to do a basic Python import and run a function/method as a Java applet. Does anyone have a really simple example on how to do this? |
