You can control Jython's package scanner with a few Jython registry
entries.  The details on how to do that turned into something fairly
lengthy so I wrote it up in the wiki at
http://wiki.python.org/jython/PackageScanning  Feel free to ask more
questions here if that doesn't make sense.
