Steve- Not sure I completely understand what kind of issues you are having, but if you are just trying to sort PyObjects then perhaps you could use a PyList. Just add them to the list and sort: http://web.mit.edu/jython/jythonRelease_2_2alpha1/Doc/javadoc/org/python/core/P yList.html. If you want to manipulate the objects in midst of sorting, this will also allow you to iterate through the list of objects and manipulate them accordingly.
