I just found out that our wiki accepts docutils ReST style markup in addition to the default moin style wiki markup. All you do is put: #format rst at the top. Since the website is written in ReST, this would significantly lower the barrier to moving content from the wiki to the website. I like the idea of having the website be official, maintained information that can be considered definitive -- and having the wiki as a place for new documentation to get generated. If we decide to go this route, we would need to put a big message on the front page, and make sure that "markup help" links point to ReST docs and not to moin sytle wiki docs. Also it would be nice if the new document template (I assume there is one, I don't know moin internals well) would put the format statement at the top with a message not to change it...
