I just reverted to a more 1.2 friendly usage of URLDecoder. See also: http://jython.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/jython?view=rev&revision=3057 However, I have 2 questions 1. What has to be merged to where ? I always - naively - thougth that the 2.3 branch will be merged to the trunk as soon as the 2.2 release is out (and 2.2 has got its own branch). But I might be completely wrong. Did we decide this yet ? If trunk is a dead end street, I have to start merging quite a few changes to 2.3. 2. How far do we go with JDK1.2 compatibility ? I downloaded JDK 1.2.2 from the sun hall of fame, downloaded an older ant version (1.5.2) and started the developer-build on a copy of my workspace. I got some very strange compilation errors, attached in the .txt file. The same errors occur if I do a brute force javac on the jython/src folder. Again, maybe I am on the wrong side of the planet. Thanks Oti. |
