Hi folks, Ive been watching how Mustang(Java 6 project) has been functioning for awhile. One of the things they do(did) was make a build every week which you could download in one convenient bundle and test out. Just from watching the bug database and the forums it seemed to have the positive effect of users downloading it and reporting bugs. Now, would a weekly build be healthy for the Jython project? I can think of a couple of positives: a. Find bugs quicker by having actual users testing it out. b. Another sign of Jython's pulse. A user could easily download something that said "built 1 week ago". He wouldn't see builds that were ancient. A negative? 1. Why couldn't a user just cvs the darn thing and build it himself? thought folks? leouser ____________________________________________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
