Lenny, For most tasks Jython runs fine on Windows with JDK 1.3. If you have the option, run JDK 1.4. There were performance enchancements to Java Reflection between 1.3 and 1.4 which makes Jython run faster on 1.4. In general I don't have perfomance problems with Jython. But how fast is fast enough?
