Hi Jon, I'm sorry for missing management of sources. > Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: > src/backend/wad/physics/MnpxChunk > at src.gui.Model.merge(Model.java:351) I don't have the project files in this rentaled PC. So cannot check them now. I'll search the reason, fix them, and report bug. But I'm too busy because of entering employment. So please wait some days to do. 2008/4/2, Jon Irons <jon...@gm...>: > Hey Koji, > > I was testing your new code (mainly the terminal code) and when I tried > to use the Merge command, I experienced a problem: > > > Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: > src/backend/wad/physics/MnpxChunk > at src.gui.Model.merge(Model.java:351) > > Do you know how to fix this? > > I'm sorry I haven't been very active in developing JUICE lately. Hey Koji, I was testing your new code (mainly the terminal code) and when I tried to use the Merge command, I experienced a problem: Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: src/backend/wad/physics/MnpxChunk at src.gui.Model.merge(Model.java:351) Do you know how to fix this? I'm sorry I haven't been very active in developing JUICE lately. I am not sure how soon I can begin again. Maybe this will get me started :) -- Jon Irons http://irons.treellama.org |

If that's what you're going to be working on from now on, shouldn't it be merged back into the trunk? Gregory |

Hello, there I've released the test version of Physics Editor One J. And received a request that I should use Tree layout. Then, added another branch in the repository. The branch is named "PhysicsEditorOneJ_TreeLayout." That is the newest version of the editor. When checking out, you should do from this branch, please. Koji Koizumi (HN:HogePiyo) |

hi, I'm creating Physics Editor named "Physics Editor One J." When creating it, I've fallen upon some problems, and made modification to resolve them. The problems I found were : 1."MapData" couldn't recognize MacBinary in a PhysicsModel file (ex. "Standard.bin".) 2.The editor failed to load Physics entries which has OLD entry header size(12 bytes). In the other hand, normal wad files have 16 bytes for entry header size. We should use MapData#entryHeaderSize. I resolved those problems with: 1.I created PhysicsData and PhysicsWriter class to avoid throwing exception which tells the file is not valid Map data. And copied a method of detecting MacBinary from AlephOne's source codes into PhysicsWriter, and made it. Although, it fails to check CRC yet. :/ 2.Replaced magic numbers,"16", to "getLevel().getMapData().getEntryHeaderSize()". And now we will be able to load any version of physics files. If other problems or conflicts occur after these modification, please ask me where I changed on details or to resolve them. Koji Koizumi hog...@gm... |

Jon, Thank you for telling the answer! > You can try something like this: > > 1) for each Level, create a new MapData > 2) add the Level to the MapData > 3) update the Level's MapData reference. I gonna try these process quickly. but to avoid confliction with your editing. I don't modify MapData and MapWriter now. > things. Hello, there I gonna create Map Demerger using JUICE. this application need functions that save each level into a file. Does JUICE already have the functions like above? |

I have forwarded this to the mailing list to get things going. -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Re: Succeeded to correctly save maps with terminal modification Date: Tue, 12 Feb 2008 10:38:30 -0500 From: Jon Irons <jon...@gm...> Reply-To: jon...@gm... To: ???? <hog...@gm...> CC: jui...@li... References: <137...@ma...> Hello, Koji. > We can modify terminals, not sufficient debug is done yet though. This is good news! Thank you for working so hard on this. I have a question: have you written a converter to take Bungie terminal text files: #TERMINAL 0 #UNFINISHED #LOGON 1600 #INFORMATION ... and change them into compiled terminals in the map file (or the reverse: isolating the map file terminals and creating a plain text file, like in a Map Demerger)? I will be able to work on JUICE again next week. Once we have terminals working well, I may create a new release for the public to use; the Merge function will be good for people to try. Perhaps they would like to see your Terminal Editor, too! After that, I plan on adding the other missing Entry and Chunk types (medi, PNTS, PLAT/plat...). With everything added, I can then modify the POLY classes to be more useful, and we will have a complete back-end for an editor! Is there a particular Chunk/Entry type you wish to see next? Oh, yes... there is a mailing list at https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/juiceforge-devel Let's use it to talk about bugs and features from now on! Then Watts can see the discussions, too. In fact, I'll forward this message to the list. Anyway, thank you again for your work so far. -- Jon Irons http://irons.treellama.org Phone Number: 01 404 277 4436 GPG Fingerprint: B3C7 340C 3D83 73D1 BF11 EACB 43DF 3194 E363 4049 -- Jon Irons http://irons.treellama.org Phone Number: 01 404 277 4436 GPG Fingerprint: B3C7 340C 3D83 73D1 BF11 EACB 43DF 3194 E363 4049 |
