Hi, +-From: "Adam Paeth" <ap...@fo...> -- |_Date: Tue, 5 Sep 2006 15:16:12 -0500 __________ | |I've seen at least one mention of recent debian distros causing problems |with SSH authentication using jsch. From what I've been able to figure out |from a post in the email list archives is to make a change to the ssh_config |of the host. I've tried changing the PreferredAuthentications to use |password as the first (or last) in the list, but that didn't seem to fix the |problem. I tried using the UserAuthKI without any problems, but my ant task |keeps failing with the same Auth fail message. Which Ant version are you using? Please try Ant 1.7.0Beta1, which has been released at http://ant.apache.org/ . If you need to use Ant 1.6.5 or previous, refer to my message[1] on ant-dev mailing list. FYI, for using scp/sshexec task on Ant 1.7, you need to update jsch to 0.1.28(or later), and if you are interested in scp task by sftp protocol, I recommend you to use jsch 0.1.29. If you are interested in the improvement of upload performance by scp task, please try http://www.jcraft.com/jsch/jsch-0.1.30-pre-20060906.zip [1] http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=ant-dev&m=111959408515300&w=2 Sincerely, -- Atsuhiko Yamanaka JCraft,Inc. 1-14-20 HONCHO AOBA-KU, SENDAI, MIYAGI 980-0014 Japan.
