Hi, +-From: David Walend <Dav...@ma...> -- |_Date: Tue, 9 Nov 2010 17:49:39 -0500 _____________ | |Did I miss an easy work-around for this bug in https://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1397 ? |Openssh 4.9 fixed the problem, but Red hat-based systems come with Openssh 4.3 and don't generally have the fix yet. The server reports an SSH_FX_FAILURE with the unhelpful "Failure" message on the 101st file. I don't want to hack my code to count to 100 and cycle the channel if I can avoid it. I have checked the source code of the older OpenSSH, and it seems that it will just return SSH2_FX_FAILURE[1] without meaningful infos at that case. How about checking the version of remote sshd, Session#getServerVersion() [1] http://www.openbsd.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb/src/usr.bin/ssh/sftp-server.c?rev=1.74;content-type=text%2Fplain Sincerely, -- Atsuhiko Yamanaka JCraft,Inc. 1-14-20 HONCHO AOBA-KU, SENDAI, MIYAGI 980-0014 Japan.
