[joe] launch an external program and pass the filename

Hi Folks,

I've been trying to do this for a while.  I work in latex, and so I'd like
to bind a key-combination in joe to have it run tex2pdf %f where %f is the
filename that I am at the moment working on, i.e., the current buffer.  I
have *not* been able to find out information about how to do this, although
I've come close.  Does anyone do this?
