I'm working on a music application website that allows people to algorithmically compose music. Unfortunately, I didn't know about jMusic until I had already written my own layer to interact with the java midi API so I am not using jMusic to generate the piece of music. However, I am interested in using jMusic to render a generated piece of music into common practice notation, and save it as an image on my webserver, that could then be displayed on the webpage. I've experimented briefly with the CPN tutorial found here<http://jmusic.ci.qut.edu.au/jmtutorial/NotationInput.html> . <http://jmusic.ci.qut.edu.au/jmtutorial/NotationInput.html> Using this, I've gotten a basic java GUI app with CPN to work. However, I have no idea how to go about rendering the CPN directly to an image file. Any suggestions? Thanks, Myron |
