Hi all, after a longer vacation I'm back at the problem again. After all your help I was able to load the signed applet, do all the necessary operations on the three molecules I wanted to show together and saved the script to a *.spt file. The next problem shows up, when I try to execute this *.spt File from a web page (again using the signed applet): JMol starts opening but does not complete the script. Instead I get a pop-up error message (strangely only on the first time I open the web page, the message does not appear agin, if i reload the page) saying that the application could not fulfil the request of the script. (Since I'm using a German computer and German version of JMol I cannot give the exact wording of the error message in English) After closing the error window, there is no Java console open anymore, and no JMol window (just a blank space where it should be). I'm posting the saved *.spt script with this mail so you can have a look, if something there is unusual, I only stripped the comment lines. (as to be expected leaving the comments in the file does not change the error). I did not change anything else in the script file. The script is invoked by <script type='text/javascript'>jmolSetAppletColor('#000000', '#000000', '#000000'); jmolApplet(size=[$wwidth, $wheight], script='load $skript', 'cation'); </script> (where php variables $wwidth, $wheight are width and height of the JMol window and $skript is the file locator of the *.spt script) I checked that all of them are set to the correct values directly before the javascript commands. How can I find out what causes the error?
