The simplest way to include the applet is to include a web page that has the applet part 
of it. This is especially nice, because (a) you can set it up using your browser first and 
get it all working properly, and (b) you can have whatever buttons and such you are used 
to using right along side it.

For PowerPoint, the add-in is called "LiveWeb".
