mime type

On a Blackberry 7730 the download button on the
download page on the WAP browser says:
Sorry
The requested item could not be loaded
Wrong MIME-Type
However, the normal browser works fine, and the
software installs perfectly.
Just thought you might like to know, for the
documentation or incase the mime type really is wrong.

When I wget http://jmirc.sf.net/jmIrc.jad and jmIrc.jar I get the following
mime types:
Length: 255 [text/vnd.sun.j2me.app-descriptor]
Length: 35,198 [application/java-archive]
And as far as I know these should be the correct mime types. Maybe
blackberry gets confused because of the redirect or something? How about if
you try http://jmirc.sourceforge.net/jmIrc.jad url in your wap browser
instead? I could change the link to forward to this longer url if it works better,
but if it doesn't I'll just close this bug.

Downloading with my Nokia 6230 via WAP results in an error
message, too (no further text given...).
But afterwards it runs fine, only that in my program list
jmIrc has the standard-jme-icon and no its own jmIrc-icon.

Possible reason for the missing icon:
In the CVS the jmIrc.png in /res/icons is checked in with
ASCII-mode. Should be Binary!
Perhaps this causes the mime and download error?

The CVS is fixed now to binary and should update as
sourceforge updates their public CVS server. I changed the
link on the download page to be sourceforge.net instead of
sf.net if that helps anything. (it's possible that the
browser just searches for the first mime type and not the
second because it's a redirect) But I don't know what else
could be wrong.

Apparently this works now as reported by tmiegel. Closing
the bug.
