A complete rewrite of the mobile java irc-client WLIrc. (http://wirelessirc.sourceforge.net) Aims to be more responsive and use less memory maintaining the current gui and looks.
works pretty well. considered the following: the line buffer for one channel can be maxed to 999 lines it seems. my phone can store more data i guess, but maybe that could be changed [in the source]... the enter message button is opening a new phone-style 'text input', so can't "read and write" at same time. maybe one line of each channel (on the bottom) should be dropped [optionally] for type field. maybe T9 is not necessary. byte counter is quite useful, my provider though rounds every hour to 10k. so, i'd need more of that [currently]. good app!!!
I can connect and stay on few channels. But I cant read the channel messages and dont have navigation between the channels. I have no found a "disconnect" option after closing all channels. But is a great way.
I connect wonderfully on my Blackberry World 8830. Only thing I can't do is oper up :(
