We're getting reports that Jin doesn't work on Mac's Yosemite update because it no longer provides JavaSE 6. Users have installed the Java 8 from Oracle but the installer appears to reject it. I don't have a mac so I'm not able to extract more information.
Apple provides support for downloading legacy JavaSE 6 support up through High Sierra (10.13) here:

That being said, support for JavaSE 6 was dropped starting with Mojave (10.14), so now Jin is dead from Mojave and onward.
