JIG 0.4.0 has just been released. The biggest addition to the project is support of Java Agents, allowing the generation of Java hashCode, toString and equals methods on the fly from within any Java environment including IntelliJ and Eclipse debugers.

This is a maintenance release of JIG. Several bugs in both ASM and DTO JIG have been resolved and extra effort into making ASM JIG useful for Hibernate projects has been added.

JIG offers Java Developers a short hand for producing DTO objects.

After a couple of years of using this mini language friends+colleagues finally convinced me to release JIG as an Open Source project. I hope you find it as useful as I have.
