Hello, From time to time, I'm getting a SyncFailedException (see bellow for full trace). This seems to only happen when RecordManager.close() is triggered by the garbage collector. On the positive side, this exception doesn't seem to have any adverse effect on the index integrity one way or the other, so I have ignored it so far... Any idea why the FileDescriptor is complaining though? And how to avoid this exception in the first place? TIA. Cheers, PA. java.io.SyncFailedException: sync failed at java.io.FileDescriptor.sync(Native Method) at jdbm.recman.TransactionManager.sync(TransactionManager.java:252) at jdbm.recman.TransactionManager.close(TransactionManager.java:268) at jdbm.recman.TransactionManager.synchronizeLogFromMemory(TransactionManag er.java:106) at jdbm.recman.TransactionManager.shutdown(TransactionManager.java:260) at jdbm.recman.RecordFile.close(RecordFile.java:292) at jdbm.recman.RecordManager.close(RecordManager.java:131) at alt.dev.szdb.SZDB.close(SZDB.java:223) at alt.dev.szdb.SZDB.finalize(SZDB.java:153) at java.lang.ref.Finalizer.invokeFinalizeMethod(Native Method) at java.lang.ref.Finalizer.runFinalizer(Finalizer.java:83) at java.lang.ref.Finalizer.access$100(Finalizer.java:14) at java.lang.ref.Finalizer$FinalizerThread.run(Finalizer.java:160) |
