Hi. The code you have presentet looks wery good and correct at a first glance. I have several others who have reported the same issue as you, that they get nulls from the cache. (Which shouold not be posible, an objectnotpresent exception shouold be thrown) I will go through your code and try to replicate the error against the current codebase I am using. I am currently working on getting an alpha 5 release ready, which has the cacheloader functionality completely implemented. But its moving slooowly, as I am having a hard time to figure out how to support StreamObjects and FileObjects within a CacheLoader. I do not completely understand the full picture of the cacheloader functional specification yet. It's also possible that I'll delay the alpha 5 until all methods in CacheAccess is implemented. The posibility for yet another delay of alpha 5 is also present regarding increased functionality in the automatic deletion of cached object. For now its only time based, with a constraint, no object which is in use is deleted. I also want to implement the idletime, maximum number of objects, maximum memory and an LRU algorithm. Any other who have opinions on what I should include in alpha 5, and what to delay to later releases, or perhaps I have the wrong focus, should I focus on somoe other areas of JCache? For example: Distribution, make it JMX managable, make it auto-tunable, Ready-to-use Servlet Filters, JDBC wrappers, EJB interface wrappers, integration modules with persistence engines, Auto integreation with JBoss, Websphere, BEA SunONE etc, Performance tuning any other ideas?
