Thanks again for the reply Brian. The cache data is loaded via a CacheManager class, which queries for the data in several databases. This class has been added to and updated for a long period of time and is why intially I have been looking into just using a wrapper class and adding the in memory data to a TreeCache. There is a lot of code and application dependency built into this CacheManager. I will look into the shared CacheLoader solution that you mentioned. Also, I have been looking into starting the TreeCache in an inactive state and with the idea of then registering it after it is loaded. | TreeCacheAop() cache = new TreeCacheAop(); | PropertyConfigurator config = new PropertyConfigurator(); | config.configure(cache, JBOSS_TREE_CACHE_CONFIG_FILE); | | cache.setInactiveOnStartup(true); | | cache.createService(); | cache.startService(); | | // load cache data to tree cache | | cache.activateRegion("/"); | From what I've seen it still looks like the replication methods are being called by each node, however it looks like they are being ignored. What are you thoughts on this approach as I'm not exactly sure if this will work? Again thanks for you assistance.
