Ever had someone fail to deliver on a promise, fail to follow up, fail to communicate their ideas to you or just not have their act together? While it’s easy to get a little upset over these disappointments from people you are paying for services, you can also look at this as a blessing. Thank goodness there are so many folks who just don’t “get it”…as this makes it so easy to be successful when you do know how to communicate effectively.</p> <p>Don’t you just love it when your sales person or agent really “gets it”? They understand you and you understand them – you just click! Sure, price is important, but wouldn’t you pay a little more to work with someone who has great communication with you? Most of us would. Communication could solve so many problems but it breaks down so often. It really is hard to get an idea out of one person’s head and into another’s. If someone has a concept in his or her brain, they understand it or see it clearly. This is also a handicap. Because it is so clear to one person, they assume the person they are communicating to can also see it clearly…but in many cases, they can’t. This may also explain why superstar athletes rarely make great coaches - they can’t understand why it doesn’t come as naturally for others.<br /> <a class="style2" href="http://link.ixs1.net/s/lt?id=x179924&si=v108372054&pc=m2007&ei=885581">Read More</a> <img src="http://www.mortgagemarketguide.com/_global/images/perspectives/sym_arrow.gif" width="6" height="5" /></p> <p> </p> <p><span class="style3"><strong>Testimonials...Get Them...Use Them</strong></span><br /> by Sue Woodard</p> <p>A great testimonial from a satisfied client is a wonderful thing. You feel good, your team feels good, the client feels good, everyone is sharing the love…but if you never do anything further with the testimonial, you’ve missed a huge marketing opportunity. Testimonials act as proof to prospective clients that your advice, service or product actually delivers in the way that you have promised them. And think about it – aren’t you more inclined to do business with a company because you’ve heard great things about them from their own past clients, over a company that has simply told you great things about themselves?</p> <p>One of the most valuable and cost-effective marketing tools you could have for your business are testimonials…but only if you follow two important rules. 1) <strong>GET THE TESTIMONIAL</strong>, and 2) <strong>USE THE TESTIMONIAL</strong>. The good news is that it’s easy, and here’s how you can do it right away. <a class="style2" href="http://link.ixs1.net/s/lt?id=y179925&si=v108372054&pc=n2008&ei=885581">Read More</a> <img src="http://www.mortgagemarketguide.com/_global/images/perspectives/sym_arrow.gif" width="6" height="5" /></p> <p> </p> <p><span class="style3"><strong>Close Larger Loan Sizes and Increase Your Income by Working With Financial Advisors</strong></span><br /> by Gibran Nicholas</p> <p>I am convinced that you can give yourself at least a 25% pay raise by doing more business with financial advisors. Even if you are already working with financial advisors, there are tremendous opportunities to do even more business that you may not even realize yet.</p> <p>Let’s face the fact that we make 5 times more money and do relatively the same amount of work if we close a $500,000 loan vs. closing a $100,000 loan. Right? So, we all want to close larger loan sizes. How do you find these larger loan sizes? Well, let’s think this through together for a minute:</p> <p><strong>Who uses a financial advisor?</strong></p> <p>People who want to know how to spend the extra money they have…</p> <p>...People who want to avoid paying too much tax on the large amounts of money they earn…</p> <p>...In other words, clients who are wealthy utilize the services of a financial advisor!</p> <p> <a class="style2" href="http://link.ixs1.net/s/lt?id=z179926&si=v108372054&pc=o2009&ei=885581">Read More</a> <img src="http://www.mortgagemarketguide.com/_global/images/perspectives/sym_arrow.gif" width="6" height="5" /></p> <p><a href="http://link.ixs1.net/s/lt?id=n148603&si=v108372054&pc=82010&ei=885581"><img src="http://www.mortgagemarketguide.com/_global/images/perspectives/email/btn_learnmore.gif" width="107" height="18" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://link.ixs1.net/s/lt?id=o148604&si=v108372054&pc=i2011&ei=885581"><img src="http://www.mortgagemarketguide.com/_global/images/perspectives/btn_newslettersignup.gif" width="162" height="18" border="0" /></a></p> </td> <td width="10"> </td> </tr> </table></td> <td width="20"> </td> </tr> </table></td> </tr> </table> <table width="640" border="0" align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <tr> <td><img src="http://www.mortgagemarketguide.com/_global/images/interface/spacer.gif" width="1" height="5" /></td> </tr> </table> <table width="640" border="0" align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"> <tr> <td width="20" bgcolor="#FFFFFF"><img src="http://www.mortgagemarketguide.com/_global/images/interface/spacer.gif" width="1" height="1" /></td> <td width="600" bgcolor="#CCCCCC"><img src="http://www.mortgagemarketguide.com/_global/images/interface/spacer.gif" width="1" height="1" /></td> <td width="20" bgcolor="#FFFFFF"><img src="http://www.mortgagemarketguide.com/_global/images/interface/spacer.gif" width="1" height="1" /></td> </tr> </table> <table width="640" border="0" align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <tr> <td><img src="http://www.mortgagemarketguide.com/_global/images/interface/spacer.gif" width="1" height="5" /></td> </tr> </table> <table width="640" border="0" align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <tr> <td colspan="3"><img src="http://www.mortgagemarketguide.com/_global/images/interface/spacer.gif" width="1" height="10" /></td> </tr> <tr> <td width="20"> </td> <td width="600" class="footer"> © 2006 Copyright The Mortgage Market Guide.
