I can put together two linux servers and use DRBD in dual-primary mode to get a shared block device with concurrent read/write access on the two nodes. Can I then export an iSCSI target from each node and use the two like a single multipath iSCSI device? eg. to simulate a dual-controller iSCSI storage array I would guess it is possible if the iSCSI multipath implementation assumes completely independent targets for the multiple paths, and it would fail if the two need to know about each other. But I don't know iSCSI enough to answer that question :) thanks, -- Luca Lesinigo |
