To summarize: reloading the full configuration is a PITA because you need to keep track of the previous settings. You need to find out whether a target was added / deleted / previously available even if the only config change was tweaking the number of worker threads of a single target. Add possible LUN and CHAP account configuration changes to this and you really don't want to think about it any further ;) HTH, Arne |
