I modified my /etc/modprobe.conf to include the following line: options ipw2200 hwcrypto=0 And all my firmware error and restarts have stopped occurring!!!! Does anyone know what are the disadvantage of hwcrypto=0. I am still able to connect to all the networks etc. that I regularly use. Is there a performance differnece? If so, how much? thanks, Osho On Thursday 17 November 2005 3:16 pm, Stijn Tintel wrote: > Osho GG wrote: > > I am in a very good signal environment.
