[Ipsec-tools-devel] ESP tunnel and IPcomp: so what?

So do we reached an idea of The Right Way of doing ESP tunnel with
IPcomp?

I can fix things if I know the way the things should be fixed and I
don't have a strong opinion on the different alternatives we explored.
Something should be chosen now, but how do we decide?
