I believe that all of the applications you mention will be using a file on the file system as a data store. They will not be using an RDBMS or similar database server. If that is the case and I can assume that you will be using NTFS as your file system that will narrow the parameters a bit. Please let me know if my assumptions are correct and if so I can offer some advice on what to test. Be sure to run your tests from the guest OS.
