RH9 has been tested and is supported. Am I correct about the port > Iometer listens on? How do I tell Dynamo to use a different port? Port 1066 is correct and you can not change this port (beside changing the source code and recompiling both - Dynamo and Iometer). The handshake works that way, that Dynamo is first binding itself to a random TCP port (given by the local OS) and then sends the port number (where it is now listening on) as part of a LOGIN message to port 1066 of Iometer machine. Iometer receives the request, terminating the current connection and now itself calls back by establishing a connection to the given port on the Dynamo machine. From there on this connection then is used for defining and running the tests. Hope that helps. CU Daniel |
