Also, please note that the archives you download are generally meant to be extracted through use of our install.sh script, which does more than a simple unzip/untar. For the desired connection, you will need the OpenLink Multi-Tier solution, and a Windows instance which is TCP-IP accessible from your Linux client environment. You will need to download and install the OpenLink Multi-Tier Generic Client ODBC Driver, which ships with the iODBC runtime. For best results, you will also download and install the HTTP- based OpenLink ODBC Administrator, through which to configure and manage your DSNs. These all go in the Linux environment. You will also need to download and install the OpenLink Multi- Tier Request Broker and ODBC Bridge Agent, for installation in the Windows environment which has privileges on the MS Access database file. The ODBC Bridge Agent will enable the OpenLink Generic Client to make use of a native Microsoft Access ODBC DSN in the Windows environment, transparently delivering full ODBC connectivity to the MS Access database to the Linux environment. If you need further assistance in locating the correct components, or in getting them installed and up-and-running, please visit our Web-based Support Center, http://support.openlinksw.com/, and review the documentation there and on our main Documentation site, http://docs.openlinksw.com/. If need be, you can open an online Support Case through the Support Center, using the same email address and password as you supplied for your download.
