Hello, I had a query and wanted to clarify it from this list. My firm is planning to migrate to IB. From ULP standpoint of view, our plan is to use SDP to take advantage of IB fabric and also without making any code changes. We have some processes that communicate on the LOCAL host using TCP SOCK_STREAM. If we use SDP for these processes, do you expect a performance gain? Does SDP behave the same way (offloaded stack, RDMA, kernel bypass, zcopy etc) while the processes run on the SAME physical host? Do you have any latency/throughput data available for this test scenario? Any opinion would be highly appreciated. Thanks for your time!
