I have been using the Nafees Nastaliq font from CRULP and I am quite sure that it is an Urdu font unless you are using the term in a different sense than what I understand it to mean. It contains the Arabic letters necessary for writing Urdu in the Nastaliq style, Unicode encoded. I have even corresponded with Dr. Sarmad Hussain about this font as there was an error in it (the year sign sanah U+0601 was not "pure" but had the dochashmi he used to indicate that it is the year A.H. rather than the year C.E. built-in). An English font would not have sanah in it. Perhaps you are not installing the fonts correctly? Bill |
