Hi all, I will be kind of offline, for a month, since I am going to Bhutan , to give a team there training on Linux localization for their language Dzongkha. I should be back by July end. Meanwhile few updates: - KDE 3.2 translation updates and Gnome 2.8 translations are in progress by Ravi Shrivastava. - A working version of Rangoli live CD is ready, but still needs some patching up. Will try to get the ISO up online. (Those who requested CDs - I wont be able to send them untill I am back ). - We need a lot of user documentation to be compiled/written, for the live CD and in general to educate users on how to use the available multilingual features. (A template for it is added at http://www.indlinux.org/wiki/index.php/RangoliDocs , this can be used as starting point ). eg. on how to use inscript layout. http://www.indlinux.org/doc/inscripthindi.html . There are many more similar topics to write on. I hope we can have something going in this direction. Regard, Karunakar -- They can, because they think they can - Anon -------------------------------------------- * Blog: http://blogs.randomink.org/blog/10 * * Work: http://www.indlinux.org * -------------------------------------------- |
