There are only two places where the error you got can be generated in 0.8, so I'll just give you a run-down of the possible scenarios: in file: include/session_auth.FS.inc -You are using the FS backend -A session ID ($user) was not received -Not logged in -Bug in form or url variables -Cookie being lost -Session key has changed -If cookies are used, session timed out -If cookies are not used, your apparent IP changed in file: include/session_auth.MySQL.inc -You are using the MySQL backend -A session ID was not received (see above) -Session ID was not found in database -Session timed out -Session ID was never inserted Perhaps that'll help?
