This has to do with the way the Trash folder was used in previous versions of IlohaMail. Instead of simply moving messages to the Trash, it used to mark as deleted, copy to trash, then purge original. When viewing the Trash, it shows you both messages marked as deleted as well as those that aren't. When you move messages, it does the reverse; copy, then mark as deleted (IMAP actually doesn't have a "move" command). But because you can see messages marked as deleted in the Trash, you still see the copy in the Trash. Anyway, this behavior will be changed in future releases.
