Well, so far it looks like the following people have expressed interested in carrying on the IlohaMail project. "Ryo Chijiiwa" <ry...@il...> "Andrew Alderwick" <an...@al...> "Martin Waschb=FCsch" <Martin@Waschbuesch.de> "Ondra Kudlik" <ke...@or...> "Rodolfo Pilas" <ro...@pi...> "Peter Oakley" <pe...@oa...> "David Fletcher" <Da...@me...> "Dean Holden" <dh...@so...> I have software development, database design, and some PHP experience, but no experience in managing an open source project like this. Maybe Ryo could help us get started, and kind of oversee things? I, as others have stated, also host web sites, and could host the IlohaMail website if for some reason it needed to leave its current home. These are the general tasks as described by Ryo. 1. Review, and check in patches (bug fixes) 2. Receive and respond to direct feed back from ilohamail.org 3. Make decisions on which features to add 4. Implement features 5. Provide support to developers and users 6. Decide when to release, and what to include in a release 7. Interface with translators, accept translations and merge into code 8. Maintain and/or update websites, blog So, where do we go from here? Dean |
