As explained by my recent message to ilisp-cvs, I made a mistake while committing revision 1.7 of INSTALLATION: I provided the whole contents of the INSTALLATION file instead of the commit log message. To fix the problem, I later committed the file again with the correct log and explained what happened in ChangeLog. The incorrect log message is annoying, e.g. it unnecessarily clutters the output of `cvs log'. Is it possible to replace the incorrect message in place with the shorter one? A question I should have asked earlier is: is it possible to undo the effects of an incorrect commit (without committing a later revision with the correct changes or log message)? I apologize for the mistake. Paolo -- EncyCMUCLopedia * Extensive collection of CMU Common Lisp documentation http://cvs2.cons.org:8000/cmucl/doc/EncyCMUCLopedia/ |
