What you want to do is set the variable ilisp-display-output-function. To see what options you have, do an apropos on ilisp-display-output. Some time ago, I posted the code for the output function that I use, but I'm pretty sure it didn't get merged. It displays one-line messages in the minibuffer, and multi-line messages in a fixed, dedicated emacs frame that doesn't go away. This is also really nice when you're using ILISP over X11 over a modem. Here's the code I use: |
